The Taormina Story
Building Foundation Through Family and Business
My journey didn't start in real estate—it started in a kitchen. For 15 years, I invested myself in the family restaurant business, learning lessons that most real estate agents never get the chance to understand. Running a restaurant taught me about consistency, quality, reliability, and most importantly, about people. You can't succeed in the food business without understanding what your customers need, listening to their feedback, and delivering excellence every single day. Those weren't just business lessons—they were life lessons that shaped who I am today.
During those years, my wife Kendra stood by my side through every challenge, every late night, every decision. She's the foundation of everything I do. Together, we built something real, something that worked because we were committed to doing things the right way. That work ethic, that dedication—it never left me. When I transitioned into real estate, I brought all of those values with me.
Family First, Always
I'm a father of six incredible kids: Chase, Peyton, Zander, Finley, Gilly, and Reese. Being a dad of six isn't just about having a big family—it's about priorities. It's about understanding what matters. It's about teaching your kids integrity, work ethic, and how to treat people right. My children keep me grounded. They remind me every single day why I do this work. I'm not just building a business—I'm building a legacy for them.
My family is everything to me. Kendra, my wife, is the reason I can do what I do at the level I do it. She manages the chaos, supports my vision, believes in what I'm building, and keeps our family together while I'm out grinding in this business. She's the real MVP. Our kids are involved in amazing things in the Williamsburg community—sports, academics, community service—and we're proud to be part of a community that values family and growth like we do.
Education and Expertise
I didn't stumble into real estate. I came prepared. I hold degrees in marketing, accounting, graphic design, and business. That's not just a resume—that's a toolkit.
My marketing background means I understand market positioning, buyer psychology, and how to present properties in a way that actually moves them. Too many agents just list a house and hope. I market it.
My accounting background means I understand the financial side of real estate in ways most agents don't. I can talk about cash flow, investment potential, long-term value, and financial implications. I understand numbers deeply.
My graphic design background means your listings look professional. Your marketing materials are clean. Your presentations are polished. Details matter, and good design is just good business.
My business degree ties it all together. I understand systems, strategy, operations, and how to build something sustainable. Real estate isn't just about closing deals—it's about building a business and a reputation.
How I Actually Work
Here's what separates me: I'm transparent. I don't sugarcoat anything. If a property is overpriced, I'll tell you. If the market isn't in your favor right now, I'll say it. If there's a red flag, you'll hear about it from me first, not from your inspector or appraiser. I respect you too much to waste your time with fluff.
I'm a deep researcher. Before I show you a property, before I recommend anything, before I write an offer—I know that property inside and out. Location trends, comparable sales, property history, neighborhood data, school ratings, crime statistics, future development plans, tax assessments. I don't just look at a listing—I investigate it like it's the most important decision you'll make. Because it probably is.
I don't hand off your deal. This is huge. Too many agents will list your house, get the contract signed, and then disappear into the next deal. Not me. I see every transaction from start to finish. I'm involved in inspections. I'm coordinating with your lender. I'm handling appraisal issues. I'm at the closing table. You get me, not my assistant or some other agent on my team. This is your deal, and I treat it like it's the only one that matters.
I provide results. That's not a tagline—that's what I've built my reputation on. Results mean homes sold for the right price. Results mean buyers finding exactly what they're looking for. Results mean smooth transactions without surprises. Results mean clients who become friends and refer their family and friends to me because I delivered.
What I Represent
I represent integrity in an industry that sometimes struggles with it. I represent transparency in a business where opacity is too common. I represent hard work over shortcuts. I represent family values—understanding that real estate isn't just about money, it's about helping people find homes where they'll build their lives, raise their families, and create memories.
I represent the belief that you can be successful and honest at the same time. You don't have to compromise your values to win. You don't have to pressure people into deals. You don't have to cut corners. Good work, genuine care for clients, and deep expertise actually win in the long run.
I represent the Williamsburg community. This isn't just where I do business—it's where I live, where my family is rooted, where my kids go to school and play sports and grow up. I'm not just a real estate agent passing through. I'm your neighbor. I'm invested in this community's success.
Living a Full Life
Spending time with my family is everything to me. Whether that's being present at home, attending my kids' events and activities, or just being there for the moments that matter—that's where my focus is. I don't believe in work-life balance where you're split between two worlds. I believe in integration. My family knows they matter more than any deal. My kids see me working hard, but they also see me being present. That's the example I want to set.
I enjoy being outdoors and staying active. When I can find time away from the business, you'll find me hunting—it's where I think clearly, disconnect from the noise, and reconnect with what really matters.
Why Work With Me
If you're looking for a real estate agent who will tell you what you want to hear, I'm not your guy. If you want someone who will rush you into a decision or pressure you into a bad deal, look elsewhere. If you need someone who will disappear after the closing, find someone else.
But if you want someone who will work harder than anyone else, who will be transparent with you every step of the way, who will research every detail, who will be there from beginning to end, who understands both the emotional and financial sides of real estate, who respects your time and your family—then let's talk.
I've learned from 15 years of building a business with integrity. I've learned from raising six kids what it means to have priorities straight. I've learned from my education that expertise matters. And I've learned from my family why this work actually matters.
Your home isn't just a transaction. It's where your family's story happens. Let me help you find the right place for your next chapter.
